Great earnings potential

A growth opportunity for commercial leaders

  • Self-employed opportunity with commercial focus in the agricultural sector
  • Join an existing partnership to grow your insurance business at pace
  • Create bespoke insurance solutions with the support of NFU Mutual
  • Your drive and ambition are the only limits to your future earning potential
  • No capital investment required, just your passion and drive for growth.

NFU Mutual have built our reputation on, and succeeded in, the agricultural sector. With a value of £15billion to the UK economy, agriculture is an ever-evolving sector and we’re focused on developing our place within the sector even further.

As a Senior Partner in the NFU Mutual Agency Network, your experience will help forge new commercial alliances within this ever-growing sector in the southeast. This is a self-employed growth opportunity with absolute commercial focus and the support of one of the UK’s largest insurers.

Your experience and commercial flair

Alongside the existing partners in this multi-site insurance agency – Flimwell and Tunbridge Wells – you’ll form the agency leadership team, combining your skills to create bespoke insurance solutions that meet the needs of the fast-paced agricultural world. You’ll be the catalyst to grow this insurance business at pace.

The diversification and modernisation of agriculture in the southeast is your opportunity to thrive in this incredible sector. You’ll achieve this by using your leadership and people skills to build strong and lasting relationships with an ever-growing portfolio of large agricultural businesses. You’ll also drive business growth beyond farming, tapping into local hotspots of High Net Worth and Small and Medium Enterprises across a range of sectors. This self-employed opportunity gives you the independence to grow your agency as far as you choose with your partners.

Building business partnerships

NFU Mutual is a top 10 UK insurance provider with a focus on building business relationships and putting our customers at the heart of what we do. Our mutuality is our difference. And it works. With a 95% renewal rate, our status and respect in the agricultural world and beyond provides the foundations on which to grow your business.

Your new offices – Flimwell and Tunbridge Wells – are home to a team of over 20 people, who thrive in a culture where working towards the same goals and supporting growth through great sales is a given.

Rewards and support

As a self-employed Senior Partner and Agent of NFU Mutual, your earnings depend on the agency performance. With further opportunities and the prospect of 50% growth over the next 3 years, particularly in the commercial sector across the South East, your energy, drive, vision and personal ambition are the only limit to your future earning potential.

There’s no capital investment required, just your passion and drive for growth and sales. Your reward will be earnings based on a share of the agency profits.

We’ll set you up for success. Whilst this is your agency, you’ll also have access to the NFU Mutual support services you need to build a sustainable, profitable insurance business. This support includes sales, marketing, business insurance, financial planning and risk management services.

NFU Group Secretary

One of the other aspects of this opportunity is being appointed an NFU Group Secretary. You’ll be the voice of the Union, bringing the agriculture community together and sharing best-practice and policy updates. With full backing from the NFU, you’ll have access to expert advice and specialist support on everything from policy and increasing membership numbers to marketing and media. In this role you’re supporting the needs of the community and opening doors to future business opportunities for your agency.
