  • The introduction of Lely A5 Robots for our high-yielding dairy cows to complement crossbred herd milked at a GEA Herringbone parlour

  • A fully-functional bio-secure system to ensure the highest standards in farm security and teaching resources to benefit students

Plumpton College are now looking to recruit an enthusiastic farm manager to join their College in the beautiful South Downs.

The role provides the opportunity to maintain a hands-on approach whilst overseeing the overall management of the farm as well as being a key part of the wider College management team. The successful candidate will be supported by a capable farm team including experienced enterprise managers, and therefore will have good people management experience and a diverse and extensive career history in farm management. Additionally, the candidate will have an active interest in current and future agricultural policy changes, and be able to use this knowledge to make effective key management decisions.
