Salary: £26,000 – £37,251 pro rata per annum, dependent on qualifications

Hours: 29.6 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Hadlow College have a thriving and dynamic Agriculture, Engineering and Land Based Technology department, teaching a wide range of levels from Schools students through to Further and Higher Education. They are looking to recruit a new and highly motivated Lecturer to join the Agricultural Engineering team delivering and assessing these courses at Hadlow. The successful candidate will need to be educated to at least Level 3 and have strong practical experience of working in the industry. This position will also be of interest to those with a motor vehicle background.

You will need to demonstrate sound practical experience in an agricultural / machinery environment and ideally will have some teaching experience in a practical/classroom setting. The successful candidate will need at least three years’ relevant experience in industry. A level 2 qualification (or equivalent) in numeracy and literacy is essential.

Candidates will need to be adaptable, resourceful, reliable and resilient, have excellent communication and IT skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. Qualifications A1/A2 (D32/D33) would also be an advantage.
