Near the village of Laughton and about six miles east of Lewes, the farm extends to about 1,000 acres, with a good balance of arable, grass, woodland and ponds. It includes a pair of semi detached cottages, as well as modern farm buildings. There is the option of additional residential and equestrian property, available by separate negotiation.

The farmland is about 435 acres of arable and short term leys, about 487 acres of pasture and 38 acres of woodland. The farming is currently done with the help of a local contractor and uses a rotation of wheat, oats, beans, oats and grass. The pasture is let for grazing locally, and historically the farm was farmed organically, supporting a beef suckler herd.

There are a number of copses, shaws and larger areas of woodland, which offer good sporting potential. The shoot is currently run as a family syndicate and benefits from some excellent wildfowling and days of more than 100 birds, often including up to 20 species.

Colbrans Farm is being offered for sale as a whole or in lots, with a guide price of £7.1 million for the whole.
