Combined, Loyterton Farm and Pitstock Farm extend to some 340 acres of productive Grade I and Grade II agricultural land and include an extensive range of farm buildings.

Loyterton Farm, on the edge of Lynsted village approximately 3.5 miles to the south east of Sittingbourne, extends to 182 acres of predominately Grade II with some Grade I agricultural land and includes an implement shed, former pack house and approximately 1,100 tons of cold storage.

Pitstock Farm, on the edge of Rodmersham village approximately 2.0 miles south of Sittingbourne, extends to 158 acres of predominately Grade I with some Grade II agricultural land and includes an implement shed, former pack house and approximately 600 tons of cold storage.

The farms are to be let as a whole or in lots on Farm Business Tenancies under the Agricultural Tenancies Act 1995. It is envisaged that the farms will be let on a mid to long term basis (5-20 years) to allow for possible grubbing and replanting by the incoming Tenant. The land is presently used for growing top fruit and table top strawberries under polytunnels but would be suitable for alternative cropping. Proposals for a change from the current farming system will be considered.

After interim discussion, expressions of interest are invited by 31st March 2017.
