Each and every individual who signs up to become an NSA member in 2017 will automatically be entered into the draw, while existing members can earn unlimited entries by simply recommending people to join the organisation; the more recommendations made, the more entries earnt.
Phil Stocker, NSA chief executive, says: “NSA is delighted to be able to offer these fantastic prizes, with much thanks owed to IAE for its generosity. With no shortage of industry reminders around the importance of hitting target specifications when selecting lambs for slaughter, it is kit like this that can help producers be more vigilant at every opportunity.
“We hope the offer of these quality products will give sheep farmers even more of reason to become an NSA member, each and every one of which helps to give us a stronger and more effective voice in representing views and interests of sheep farmers in all corners of the country.”
Based in the UK, IAE is an independently owned manufacturer of livestock handling equipment, equestrian stabling, steel fencing and shelters. It has continued to expand since its establishment in 1969 and has recently invested in up to date laser, robotic and profiling machinery to ensure all products are manufactured to a high standard.
IAE has generously provided the lamb weigh crates, which each come with front and rear gates, wheels and handles, as well as lugs to allow the unit to be incorporated within a handling system if required. The 100kg mechanical weigh head comes as standard, with winners having the option to upgrade to an electronic weigh system at their own cost if they wish.
Jack Jackson, IAE sales manager, says: “IAE is proud to be associated with NSA for its 2017 membership recruitment prize draw. We are pleased to offer four of our mechanical lamb weigh crates to give away through the year, part of our range of high quality and durable animal handling products. We’d be happy to discuss the possibility of upgrading the mechanical weigh crate to one from the Scanweigh range, if this was something winners want to consider.”
Four prize draws will be held every other month during the year from April 2017. After the winner is picked for each draw, all non-winning entries will automatically roll over to the next draw. The closing date for entries is 2 November 2017.
