As well as Chegworth’s own organic fruit, vegetables and salads grown on the family farm in Kent and their award winning range of farm pressed juices, the shop will be stocked with a selection of the best local, organic, and speciality meats, dairy, bread, whole foods, homemade cakes, snacks and more.
Chegworth Valley was established near Harrietsham by the Deme family in 1983. More than 70 lines of produce are grown seasonally on the farm and will be delivered daily to the shop, alongside produce from partner farms in the UK and Spain. Over the coming months the shelves will be full of Kent strawberries, raspberries and cherries and the shop’s offering will change with the seasons.
More than 300 acres are farmed by the family, producing apples, pears and soft fruit along with a selection of seasonally available vegetables and salads. Chegworth Valley supplies juice and fresh produce to independent farm shops, delicatessens, restaurants, cafes and hotels as well as supplying farmers’ markets throughout London and Kent. The farm has shops at Borough Market and 221 Kensington Church Street in London, both of which have fresh fruit and vegetables delivered daily from the farm. Produce is available seasonally from the farm gate. A box scheme and next day delivery of all the farm’s produce runs throughout Kent and London along with nationwide delivery of juices and apples.
