SALSA has been developed specifically for buyers and smaller food producers who need to demonstrate that they operate to standards that are recognised and accepted across the industry and exceed the minimum standards expected by enforcement authorities.

Tom Barnes, general manager at Biddenden Vineyards said: “We have invested over recent years in pressing & bottling equipment which has allowed us to increase our capacity and offer contract bottling to a wider range of local farms and businesses. SALSA was the logical next step to give both Biddenden’s customers and our white label customers the assurance that our production standards are the highest possible and opening up new routes to market for all.”

Biddenden offers white label production of still ciders and fruit juices, along with specialist drinks, drawing on nearly 50 years of experience within the industry. With SALSA in place and the start of the 2018 harvest imminent, Biddenden will be moving into the pressing season well equipped to continue to offer drinks production of the highest standard.
