With up to 40,000 visitors to the show, the livestock area was buzzing with people keen to learn about British farming.

Beef champion went to Podehole Tessa Delightful, a Shorthorn owned by Harry Horrell from Peterborough, and led by Roy McDonald.

Mike and Bev Clear of Pierrepont Farm, Frensham were awarded dairy champion with their Jersey, Discovery Excitations Syria.

Pig champion went to Neil Giles from Billingshurst and his Saddleback sow Tedfold Molly 1, while Messrs Wakeham-Dawson and Harmer made a weekend of it, as their shearling Southdown ram Percy was crowned champion sheep.
