Over 60 people enjoyed a guided tour by Clive Chandler, who took us through his various apple and pear orchards including Cox, Gala, Jazz, Egremont Russet, Bramley and a range of Pears; Conference, Comice and Concorde.
The walk was finished off with a fantastic BBQ, with burgers and sausages supplied by Chandler & Dunn’s own butchers, with a good local pint of Gadds. A full report on the history of Chandler & Dunn and their mixed farm will be published next month
