NP Seymour invites growers to see the UK’s first fully-electric Fendt e107 V Vario at Fruit Focus and summer open day.
Specialist tractor and machinery dealer NP Seymour will showcase the country’s first Fendt e107 V Vario electric vineyard tractor on its stand at Fruit Focus on 9 July 2025 before giving growers a closer look during its Summer BBQ on 18 July 2025 at its Cranbrook headquarters. For more than 40 years, NP Seymour has supplied Fendt’s narrow tractors to British fruit and vine growers. The arrival of the e107 V Vario marks the next step in that partnership and delivers a practical zero-emission option for orchards and vineyards. The electric Fendt tractor is no longer just a concept. Equipped with a powerful 100 kWh battery, the Fendt e107 V Vario delivers a continuous power output equivalent to 75hp, with the familiar Vario transmission ensuring a smooth driving experience. Growers can expect a typical operating time of four to seven hours on a single charge, with a rapid recharge option available to boost the battery from 20% to 80% in under 45 minutes. Claire Seymour, Director, NP Seymour, commented: “We’ve been eager to bring a viable electric tractor to the UK for years and are incredibly excited to do so now, particularly as supermarkets and customers alike are expecting growers to adopt more and more sustainable and environmentally conscious farming practices. “We’re very proud that Fendt has recognised the importance of the British fruit industry by prioritising the delivery of this unit to the UK so soon after the tractor’s launch, and that they have also chosen us, NP Seymour, as the trusted dealership to introduce this milestone innovation to growers. “The e107 V Vario really is an electric version of the existing Fendt 200-series that growers already know and love – all attachments and implements are fully compatible, and operators will be sitting in the same comfortable cab environment. “Switching to electric does not mean sacrificing on specifications or performance, and it should also deliver some significant maintenance benefits. With no engine oil, filters or fuel system to maintain, Fendt says that growers should expect to see their scheduled-maintenance bills fall substantially. And for growers generating their own electricity from solar power, this tractor will also provide significant fuel savings too.” Martin Mills, National Sales Manager, Fendt UK, commented: “The Fendt e107 V Vario represents a new chapter in the Fendt story and we are looking forward to getting the machine in front of as many customers as possible so they can see for themselves what it is capable of. With the support of NP Seymour, we look forward to getting these machines into orchards and vineyards to help customers grow their crops more sustainably and efficiently.” The e107 V Vario will be displayed on NP Seymour’s stand 112 at Fruit Focus, NIAB East Malling, Kent, Wednesday 9 July 2025. Growers are also invited to see the electric tractor, as well as the wide range of specialist fruit and vine machinery supplied by the Kent-based dealership, at NP Seymour’s Summer BBQ on Friday 18 July 2025, from 2 pm–7 pm, at Avon Works, Cranbrook, Kent.
