County Insurance Services Ltd, based in Kidlington, Oxford, have been working with a local graphic design agency during the rebranding process. The logo has transitioned from a traditional oak tree outline to a modern and vibrant circular design. Representing their rural outlook and values, the logo was chosen following consultation with directors, staff and selected clients.

County looks after the insurance needs of over 1000 farmers nationally and have access to a number of different farm insurers. County also provides clients with an in-house claims service dedicated to farmers.

On the new logo, Malcolm Sydenham, director of County and who established it in 1984, said: “2017 was a great year for our family firm and we wanted to commemorate it. The new logo celebrates our rural roots while bringing a fresh look and feel to the firm”.

2017 saw County grow to just under £10m turnover. The independent brokerage, specialising in farms, rural businesses and thatch properties, has seen continued organic growth since their beginning. More recently County took over a south eastern broker in 2015.

Tim Sydenham, Malcolm’s son and commercial director, particularly points out how the rebrand has helped bring the best out in his team. He said: “I’ve been a part of the family business for over 20 years. Both my team and I are very excited to see the new logo and we’re proud to be representing our values to clients.”

He added: “We have evolved and expanded whilst staying true to our core vision. It’s exciting times ahead for the company.”
