With almost 400 classes for cattle, sheep, pigs, goats, horses, donkeys and poultry and with a prize fund of more than £30,000 the show has earned a reputation for its livestock and equine competition.

The show is a family day out and will feature a motor zone, a creative zone, a health and wellbeing zone, a garden zone and more as well as live music, acres of shopping, local food and drink and grand arena show jumping. Rural activities include sheep dogs, duck racing, fishing, gun dogs, falconry, bees and honey, a “farming through the ages” display and a real milking parlour.

Children will be kept busy with a treasure hunt, their own petting farm, Punch & Judy, dinosaur invasion, the action wheels bicycle adventure and more.
