Providing a calf, lambs and donkeys, the members fully dressed in nativity costumes joined local school children and paraded down the High Street, following the star to their Inn whereby visitors could take photographs of the nativity scene and animals.
Chichester YFC reformed a year ago and have enjoyed a great year developing a varied programme of events for its members, currently aged between 14 and 26, and have been keen to support local community projects. Weeks of planning and dedication by club members ensured that the day was a special experience for everyone, and sincere thanks must go to Caroline Harriott who helped the club enormously with the preparations.
With many thanks to the public that visited Arundel on the day, the club successfully raised £817.45p, and received a very generous donation of an extra £1000 following the event.
